-Never position furniture in a place where it is exposed to direct sunlight. Sunlight can change the original look of antiques so sunlight exposure should never be an option or better yet use a surface protection tape.

-Never put the antique furniture in hot rooms or near the air-conditioning unit. Extremes in temperature can really affect the antique severely.

-Regular cleaning with a soft dust cloth would be best in order to maintain its beauty. A surface protection film or a pressure sensitive tape is a tool that can surely lessen the difficulty of cleaning.

-Make use of furniture wax to maintain its sleek look. Use it in circular motions and you’ll be surprise to see the antique to be restored with its original glow.

-Move antique furniture properly. Remember that heavy furniture needs to be carried and should never be pushed.
